  • Screened at more than 30 film festivals, including SXSW, Santa Barbara, London, CineVegas, Aspen Shortsfest, NY Independent Shorts Festival - winning numerous awards along the way. A feature film version was inspired by the short, and is in the works with Billy Bob Thornton starring and Jeff directing. The screenplay was co-written by Rudy Gaines and Lester. This short was Jeff’s first venture into narrative films and reunited him with longtime friend, Billy Bob. After screening at SXSW, it was picked up for distribution by Atom Films -- it was the highest price ever paid for a short film.

CineVegas Film Festival

60 sec PSA

  • Shot on 16mm black & white Kodak stock -- on a perfect day in Red Rock Canyon. The CineVegas Film Festival’s producers asked Jeff to direct this 60 sec PSA to promote the festival. The VO script was written to emulate an indie feature screenplay.

The Shorts Show with Laura Dern

series pilot /  Sundance Channel

  • Sundance Channel green-lit this series pilot with Jeff writing & directing. He knew Laura Dern and asked if she’d host. She agreed and they went out and shot the show. Locations: NY & LA. Emmy winning cinematographer Peter Smokler DP’d. Dalton Delan EP’d for Sundance Channel.

Country Go Round

  • Shot of a shoestring budget, country star Troy Bullock’s music video tells the tale of his authentic background as a 3rd generation Wyoming coal miner. Shot over two days in Nelson, Nevada. Troy and Jeff put their divergent political beliefs to the side and came together to design this down and dirty country video.

And So It Begins

  • This inspirational three minute branding film was written/directed by Jeff. The piece served as an opening tribute to Las Vegas’ stunning performing arts center. Adam Santelli DP’d. Myron Martin of The Smith Center EP’d. The outpouring of enthusiasm from the various art schools and their students, was overwhelming. All of them volunteered their time, to be part of this gorgeous piece.
